1. Agreement to Terms

2. Scope of Service & Independent Contractor Relationship
Mandatory Notice: J&S Air Experts connects you with independent licensed HVAC contractors who perform the work. Every HVAC technician we send is licensed and insured in Virginia.
J&S Air Experts acts as a consumer matching, technical information, and dispatch coordination service. All diagnostic inspections, repairs, maintenance, equipment replacements, and related mechanical labor are performed directly by independent third-party licensed HVAC contractors who maintain their own Virginia contractor licenses, workers' compensation, and commercial general liability insurance.
3. Diagnostic Evaluations & Upfront Pricing
Service calls generally require an on-site diagnostic evaluation fee, which is communicated to you prior to dispatch. Following the diagnostic evaluation, the performing contractor will provide a clear, itemized, upfront written estimate detailing the recommended repair or replacement scope. No non-emergency work proceeds without your express authorization.
4. Emergency Dispatch & Arrival Windows
While our dispatch line operates 24/7 and technicians endeavor to respond rapidly, estimated arrival times are subject to regional traffic, severe weather events, and current emergency call volume across Prince William, Fauquier, and Fairfax counties. No specific arrival time is guaranteed.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Virginia law, J&S Air Experts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of website usage, service delays, or mechanical equipment failures. Any warranties for equipment or labor are provided directly by the installing contractor and equipment manufacturers.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
